About me
I started my career in social work 50 years ago and have been qualified for 38 years. My experience is wide ranging :
- I started working in residential care services with elderly people and those with learning needs and then within children's units as a worker, manager and line manager.
- Within children's and families teams I have both worked within, and managed child protection, children and disabilities, duty/ intake and youth justice teams.
- In addition I have experience working in addictions and the children’s rights service.
- For one year I delivered HNC social care classes at an FE college.
In recent years I have trained in coaching and hypnotherapy developing my own business delivering individual interventions, hosting events and delivering events to community groups, residential care teams, and also writing a book about anxiety.

I am trained and experienced in Parenting assessments and can provide this for court or children's hearing purposes
